Easy to wire up/install.

The inverter was very easy to install and connect. Soon as I turned it all on, it went through a timer process and then switched on and started to ramp up until reaching full load. That was it! That easy.”

Here in Victoria, just I’m sure just like NZ, its a bit cold and cloudy this Winter.

But we have had nothing but really hot, hot water since turning [it] on…………….:)

“As I live totally off grid, I am trying to take notice of a lot of different local weather and the output effect of my arrays.  Not just hot water, but also my main supply arrays.

So this is just a bit of my thoughts,  maybe not 100% correct, but it is what I notice:

I have noticed that with “half light” the inverter will still produce about 1 kW.  (this would be light grey overcast, no sun, but a bit of brightness) Let’s call it 1/3 production.

But given 6 hours of it, then the hot water is still appearing to heat right up ….:)

And, even though we are having some “blustery” weather, I am finding we get some sun between rain and clouds, this too is enough to heat up the hot water.  Cop a couple of hours of intermittent sun and all done….:)

The proof is in the tasting………we have the rest of winter to go, so we will see.
